Aquarium and Theme Park

There is resurgence nationwide in building and renovation of aquariums and other theme attractions. Often there is a need for natural gas both for heating and for special effects. You will find TracPipe at the center of many of these projects as contractors seek cost effective, safe methods for piping these one-of-a-kind designs. TracPipe was installed over the weekend here to allow other trades the use of the one high lift.

Depot for Overnight Delivery Service

This 250,000-sq. ft. building had 26 unit heaters to be installed in the 40-foot high ceiling for a total load of 1,600,000 BTU. It was completed with TracPipe by 2 men in 2 days, instead of 4 men for 2 weeks estimated with rigid pipe.

Elder Housing

The mechanical contractor used TracPipe for the individual natural gas runs to drastically cut his installation time and keep the construction on schedule. He completed the gas-piping phase in one-fifth of the time estimated with rigid pipe.

Downtown Renovation

The use of flexible gas piping for renovation and retrofit provides a quick and easy approach that is as simple as pulling electrical wiring. When the building under renovation is over 100 years old, TracPipe can offer enhanced safety for the pipe fitter and for the neighborhood. No welding of pipe was required in the wooden surroundings of the attic.

High School Renovation

The use of 1-1/2 inch Commercial Size TracPipe inserted through plastic conduit in pre-existing ceilings enabled the heating contractors to complete this job in about one-third of the time allotted. The time to reconstruct walls and ceilings after piping was also reduced.

School Laboratory: Slab-on-Grade
There are six science laboratories in this modern three-story building under construction on Main St. Four of the labs are on the first floor with slab-on-grade construction. Piping of natural gas to the table mounted burners throughout each classroom laboratory presented a challenge to the mechanical contractor. TracPipe PS with accessory vent tees provided the piping combination to complete this job and satisfy National Fuel Gas Code Requirements. Thousands of dollars were saved over sleeving and venting rigid gas pipe for the laboratories.
