A Jacketed or
Duplex hose assembly is a hose within a hose. Both inner and outer
hoses act independently as separate pressure carriers. Vacuum Jacketed
hose assemblies are typically found in cryogenic applications because
of their insulation properties. Steam Jacketed hose assemblies are
utilized when the media is viscous and steam is used to help reduce
viscosity and increase flow.
Jacketed hoses
are also used in applications where containment of the media is critical
